About Us

WELCOME. Get to know us...

O’Hara’s Public House is an Irish-themed, family-owned and -operated neighbourhood pub in north Barrie. After extensive renovations, the pub opened under new ownership in December of 2013 and has continued to grow the business as a warm and welcoming oasis of fun in the Letitia neighbourhood.

When you visit us you might hear “Slainte”, which is Gaelic for “Cheers”, and you will always be welcomed with a smile.

In addition to many Canadian beers on tap you can enjoy a taste of Ireland with a pint of Guinness or Harp.

O’Hara’s features a delicious menu featuring pub fare as well as from-scratch cooking and seasonal food menus. We also cater to special events such as birthdays or anniversaries and the pub’s back room is ideal for smaller, intimate get-togethers.

O’Hara’s entertainment usually involves live local bands every Saturday from 9-1. Our many dart boards offer solo or group opportunities for a variety of dart games. Unfortunately due to COVID-19, we have had to put these activities on hold until it is safe to do so. However, the pub’s big screen television and nine other flat screen TVs make watching sports exciting and entertaining.

Our annual golf tournament is sure to become a must-do event and we would love to play host to your ball, golf, hockey or dart tournament.

What are you waiting for? Drop in for a smile and a pint today.
